China Mobile and Huawei Launch 5G-A Rail Service and Agent Framework
At the 5G-A Experience Monetization forum in Shanghai, industry leaders unveiled a high-speed rail connectivity package and new agent-centric network architectures. Scheduled for commercial launch this August, the initiatives aim to bridge the gap between terminal capabilities and network infrastructure to foster large-scale 5G-A deployment across China.

The new high-speed rail service utilizes a "1+3+5" framework, integrating a VIP user identity with 5G-A bandwidth, AI-native core networks, and intelligent service units. This setup supports high-demand scenarios such as live streaming, video conferencing, and AI-driven office tasks, marking a shift toward experience-centric connectivity for travelers.
Beyond hardware upgrades, the event highlighted two major white papers addressing the evolution of mobile networks. The UE Logo 2.0 paper details a framework for precision marketing and network awareness, while the GSMA Intelligence Agentic Core report outlines how AI-native architectures can unlock new revenue streams through agent-service assurance. This technical shift is bolstered by the introduction of the Connection Agent and the China Mobile Bixing Agent Platform, which enable seamless interoperability between AI agents. By moving from static, rule-based service delivery to dynamic agentic orchestration, stakeholders are preparing the ground for a new era of intelligent connectivity where network resources adapt to specific agent requirements.
