The inventory, formerly operated by SOCOCO, includes specialized assets such as a 2016 Caterpillar 773G water tank with an 8,000-gallon capacity. The auction targets infrastructure developers and rental firms throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, offering a path to acquire machinery without the extended lead times currently affecting new equipment markets.

Alex Holland, president of the auction firm, noted that the Dominican Republic location provides a strategic logistics gateway for regional buyers. With demand rising for transportation and energy projects, the sale serves as a critical supply point for companies looking to bypass the capital costs of new equipment. Prospective bidders may arrange site inspections by appointment prior to the event, with the post-auction checkout window running from August 24 through September 3.
