Christine Raitt Joins Independent Beauty Association Board
Christine Raitt, a key leader at Allure Beauty Concepts, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Independent Beauty Association. Her appointment, finalized during the organization’s June 30 annual meeting, positions her to help steer the strategic direction of the trade group throughout the 2026–2027 term.

Raitt brings over a decade of expertise in beauty formulation and manufacturing to the board. Her work at Allure Beauty Concepts focuses on bridging the gap between scientific research and commercial product development, a perspective she intends to leverage to support the association’s 600-member community.
Ann Berry, Executive Chair of Allure Beauty Concepts, noted that Raitt’s election reflects her deep industry knowledge and aligns with the firm’s broader mission to foster innovation among personal care brands. Dr. Akemi Ooka, CEO of the Independent Beauty Association, welcomed the addition, citing Raitt’s potential to help the organization navigate the rapid technological shifts currently transforming research, development, and distribution in the beauty sector. Raitt plans to focus on promoting collaboration and entrepreneurship as the industry faces new regulatory and technical challenges.
