The new release aims to settle a long-standing debate among fans of the brand by merging the distinct profiles of its two most recognizable products. According to product manager Hannah Norman, the goal was to blend the rich, fudgy texture of the chocolate cookies with the light, airy sweetness that has defined the brand's creme-filled lineup since 1960.
Shoppers can expect to find the hybrid snack in multi-pack boxes across grocery stores and supermarkets starting in mid-July. The product will be distributed through the company's established network, which currently moves over 2,000 items per minute across the United States.
