ZeroBounce Accelerates Catch-All Email Verification
Santa Barbara-based email validation firm ZeroBounce has overhauled its verification engine to bypass the standard 48-hour delay for catch-all email addresses. By integrating advanced classification for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace domains, the company now provides immediate status updates for high-volume B2B contact lists.

Catch-all domains have historically plagued marketing and sales teams with uncertainty, as these servers accept messages for non-existent accounts, often leaving data inconclusive. Previously, verifying these addresses required lengthy secondary checks that stalled campaign progress. The new update allows ZeroBounce to categorize these accounts as valid or invalid during the initial scan, effectively removing the need for extended waiting periods.
Internal production tests demonstrated a 99.98% reduction in catch-all classifications for Microsoft 365 addresses, providing users with definitive data rather than ambiguous labels. According to CEO Liviu Tanase, the refinement aims to balance the demand for rapid processing with the necessity of reliable contact intelligence. This capability is currently live for all existing users, targeting organizations that rely heavily on large-scale B2B outreach through major workspace providers.
