Corero Network Security Enters Middle East Market via Commercis Deal
London-based Corero Network Security has formed a strategic alliance with Commercis to deploy real-time DDoS protection across the Middle East. The partnership aims to bolster cyber resilience for regional telecommunications, banking, and government sectors facing an increasingly complex landscape of digital threats and service availability demands.

The collaboration integrates Corero’s DDoS mitigation platform into the Commercis portfolio, providing regional organizations with automated attack detection, network analytics, and flexible deployment options. As digital transformation accelerates, the initiative seeks to move beyond basic threat detection, focusing on business continuity and the protection of critical infrastructure. Newrouz Mawlood, VP of Sales and Special Projects at Commercis, stated that the integration allows the firm to deliver carrier-grade security solutions tailored to the specific regulatory and operational requirements of Middle Eastern clients.
Beyond technology deployment, the firms plan to launch collaborative educational programs, including industry webinars and executive briefings, to address the evolving nature of cyberattacks. Michelle Ragusa-McBain, Global VP of Channels and Alliances at Corero, noted that Commercis' regional expertise is essential for supporting the infrastructure powering the local digital economy. Corero, which maintains operations in Edinburgh and Marlborough, Massachusetts, continues to expand its reach through such channel partnerships to provide automated defense against both external and internal threats.
