Encore Pledges $150,000 to Combat Human Trafficking
Encore has become the first premier hospitality partner to join the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation’s Survivor Fund, committing $150,000 to bolster anti-trafficking efforts. The two-year investment, starting in 2027, aims to expand prevention training and provide direct financial support for survivors seeking economic independence.

The contribution marks a significant escalation in the company's efforts to address a global crisis that affects an estimated 28 million people daily. Beyond the financial grant, Encore mandates specialized awareness training for its global workforce as a core onboarding requirement, ensuring employees are equipped to identify and report suspicious activity across the 2,200 hotel and event venues the company serves.
Ben Erwin, president and CEO of Encore, noted that the partnership leverages the company's extensive venue network to drive meaningful change. The NRFT Survivor Fund directs these resources toward organizations offering workforce development and emergency services, providing survivors with the tools necessary for long-term stability. Kevin Carey, head of the AHLA Foundation, emphasized that such corporate engagement is essential for creating safer environments for guests and employees alike, turning industry awareness into measurable social impact.
