Sean Breen, a partner at the Austin-based firm Howry, Breen & Herman, was inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers during the organization’s mid-year meeting in Yountville, California. Breen’s induction marks the second time a partner from the firm has earned the honor, joining Randy Howry, who became a Fellow in 2018. The Academy, established in 1954, focuses on the preservation of the Rule of Law and maintains a global roster of over 650 members, including prosecutors, criminal defense attorneys, and civil litigators.

With a career spanning over 25 years, Breen has built a practice focused on catastrophic injury cases across Texas and Colorado. His professional history includes multiple inclusions in the Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame and consistent recognition on the Texas Super Lawyers list dating back to 2004. "Trial work has always been about fighting for people when the stakes are highest," Breen said of the appointment. His work at Howry, Breen & Herman has contributed to the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars in client compensation since the firm’s inception in 1995.
