Leidos Holdings Authorizes New Share Buyback and Dividend
Leidos Holdings will distribute a quarterly cash dividend of $0.43 per share to stockholders of record by September 15, 2026. Alongside the payout, the Reston-based technology firm has cleared a new share repurchase program for up to 20 million shares, effectively replacing its fully utilized 2022 authorization.

The dividend payment is scheduled for September 30, 2026. The company’s decision to refresh its repurchase capacity reflects ongoing capital management strategies, though the execution of these buybacks remains subject to market conditions, regulatory requirements, and the firm’s internal investment needs in production and innovation. Leidos may conduct these repurchases through open market transactions, private negotiations, or derivative structures.
Leidos continues to maintain a significant footprint in the government and commercial sectors, reporting approximately $17.2 billion in annual revenue for the fiscal year ending January 2, 2026. The company currently employs 50,000 people worldwide.
