Zigglebee Brings InfoMate Safety Wearables to Walmart

After a harrowing experience when her nonverbal daughter wandered from home, founder Shari Bailey has brought her emergency-preparedness wristband, InfoMate, to Walmart.com. The device, now part of the retailer's new Guardian Tech category, aims to bridge the critical gap in response time for families with vulnerable individuals.

The InfoMate wristband functions as a low-tech, high-utility tool for caregivers. Unlike GPS-reliant trackers, the water-resistant, battery-free device uses a scannable QR code. When scanned, it triggers an immediate location alert to the caregiver and provides authorized emergency data to first responders or bystanders, facilitating faster reunions. The product retails for $39, supported by a $12 monthly subscription for the underlying digital platform.

Beyond retail, the launch serves a broader legislative agenda. Bailey, who also runs the nonprofit Laila's Gift, utilizes the brand to push for The LEAD Act, a proposed bill aimed at expanding emergency resources and training for families and first responders. To sustain this advocacy, Zigglebee donates $10 from every wristband sale to the nonprofit, which provides educational content and public awareness programs for those with disabilities.
