360training Acquires Seven Compliance Education Brands
Austin-based 360training has acquired seven specialized compliance brands from San Antonio operators, significantly broadening its reach in healthcare, workplace safety, and food handling. The move adds 57 unique courses to the firm’s catalog, targeting recurring certification mandates for both individual professionals and enterprise employers across North America.

The acquisition includes American Health Training, National OSHA Foundation, National Food Handlers Foundation, National Forklift Foundation, National HAZWOPER Foundation, Defensive Driving Foundation, and National Health Training. By integrating these platforms, 360training aims to consolidate diverse regulatory requirements—ranging from Department of Labor OSHA standards to DOT mandates—into a single administrative infrastructure. CEO Tom Anderson noted that the strategic value lies in the portfolio's depth, as these brands cater to workers navigating mandatory federal and state certification cycles.
For 360training, the deal is a play for long-term learner retention. COO Samantha Montalbano emphasized that the acquired programs are defined by renewal requirements, which foster recurring engagement rather than one-time transactions. The company plans to migrate these assets onto its existing scalable platform, offering centralized reporting tools for HR directors and improved digital tracking for individual users. With over 4,000 courses currently in its library, the expansion reinforces the company's position as a dominant provider in the highly regulated compliance training sector.
