Frost & Sullivan’s benchmarking process identified Lenovo for its excellence in both strategy development and execution. A central component of this success was the FIFA AI Pro platform, which allowed 48 competing teams to parse petabytes of competition data using natural language queries. Alaa Saayed, VP of Digital Content Services at Frost & Sullivan, noted that the platform fundamentally altered the competitive logic of the sport by delivering insights in seconds.

Beyond analytics, Lenovo’s infrastructure supported the tournament through an end-to-end ecosystem covering edge computing, cloud, and intelligent services. The company consolidated traditionally siloed venue technologies into a unified operational platform, assisting over 600 FIFA operators in managing real-time incident responses. Art Hu, Lenovo’s Chief Information Officer, described the deployment as a unique technological feat, emphasizing that the company’s Hybrid AI Advantage architecture enabled a new standard for broadcasters, officials, and billions of viewers. By commercializing these tournament-tested innovations, Lenovo is now positioning its sports technology portfolio for broader adoption across global leagues and governing bodies.
