Riverside Theatre Taps Viacom Veteran Robert Gibilterra as CFO

Gibilterra joins the organization with a career defined by high-stakes financial leadership. His resume includes nearly three decades with Viacom and MTV Networks, where he eventually served as Executive Vice President and CFO of the Global Entertainment Group. Most recently, he held the CFO title at Original X Productions, a firm specializing in live, immersive media experiences. This background in balancing creative output with fiscal rigor aligns with the theatre's current goal of expanding its campus and community footprint.

CEO and Producing Artistic Director Jon Moses emphasized that Gibilterra’s expertise in navigating organizational complexity makes him a vital addition to the leadership team. For his part, Gibilterra noted that he intends to leverage his experience to ensure the theatre maintains the resources required to sustain its long-term artistic mission. The incoming CFO holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BBA from Adelphi University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He was selected for the role following a search process conducted by DHR Global.
