Atlas Free Launches Wayplace Database for Trafficking Survivors
Navigating the path to recovery after sex trafficking often involves a fragmented landscape of support, but a new digital tool aims to centralize that search. Seattle-based nonprofit Atlas Free has unveiled Wayplace, an online database designed to connect survivors directly with specialized care and essential services across the United States.

The platform currently hosts 100 organizations offering 110 unique services, ranging from long-term residential care to trauma-informed therapies like equine-assisted healing. By allowing survivors to filter resources based on their specific needs, Wayplace shifts the agency of recovery back to the individual. The system operates entirely through a web browser, eliminating the need for downloads that could compromise a user's digital footprint or safety.
Historically, survivors struggled to identify accessible, vetted support programs amidst a sea of uncoordinated providers. Atlas Free developed the tool by integrating feedback from survivor-leaders to ensure the interface remains user-friendly and privacy-focused. As the nonprofit continues to expand its network, the database aims to bridge the gap between those seeking stability and the organizations providing it, offering a streamlined, secure point of entry for long-term healing.
