A 109,000-square-meter logistics complex in Katowice has officially opened, marking a significant push by South Korean firm LX Pantos to dominate European distribution routes. The project represents a 140 million euro investment, realized through a partnership with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation and state-backed policy funds. By securing this site in Upper Silesia, the company gains proximity to vital highway and rail networks, essential for managing the complex supply chains of automotive and home appliance manufacturers.

Beyond acting as a distribution point, the center provides a dedicated bridge for South Korean companies seeking to expand their manufacturing and sales footprint across Eastern Europe. LX Pantos intends to leverage the facility’s modern infrastructure to handle the rising volume of intermodal freight, solidifying its role as a primary logistics provider in the region.
