The networking session held at Public Room serves as a cornerstone of Serbia’s international roadshow, designed to integrate regional partners into the EXPO 2027 ecosystem. North Macedonia has already secured its presence with a dedicated pavilion titled All Rhythms of the Sun, which will highlight the nation’s cultural heritage, viticulture, and hospitality. This diplomatic and commercial momentum follows a significant uptick in regional mobility; between January and July 2026, Serbia recorded over 82,000 tourist arrivals from North Macedonia, a 22 percent increase over the previous year.

Danilo Jerinić, CEO of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, emphasized that the event acts as a catalyst for deeper integration. By leveraging the platform, both nations aim to transition from shared historical ties to structured, long-term business partnerships. The Specialised Expo, centered on the theme Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All, is scheduled to run from 15 May to 15 August 2027, with more than 140 countries currently confirmed to participate.
