Cedar Investment Group Emerges to Scale U.S. Data Center Infrastructure
Backed by a track record of over $2.5 billion in project financing since 2023, Cedar Investment Group has officially launched to manage the origination, design, and delivery of high-density data centers. The firm aims to address the massive infrastructure requirements of AI and hyperscale cloud providers across North America.

The company, established in 2025, integrates engineering, procurement, and capital structuring to support large-scale facility development. The team currently oversees a pipeline exceeding two gigawatts of data center projects. This expansion follows their previous work in delivering turnkey, liquid-cooled facilities supported by major institutional backers, including Blue Owl Capital and Brookfield Asset Management.
Managing Partners Lee Hayes and David Kelly emphasized that the firm’s operational model prioritizes technical precision alongside community engagement. As the industry faces heightened scrutiny regarding power consumption and local impact, Cedar intends to differentiate itself through transparent development practices. The firm is now scaling its portfolio to accommodate the increasing demand for high-performance computing capacity, focusing on building infrastructure that meets both rigorous technical standards and local partnership expectations.
