tm:rw Transforms Times Square Flagship into TikTok Shoppable Studios

Nine branded studios have replaced traditional retail displays at tm:rw’s 22,000-square-foot flagship in New York, turning the store into a continuous live-streaming set. Starting at 6:30 PM ET, hosts broadcast directly to TikTok Shop, allowing viewers to purchase products in real-time as they are demonstrated on the shop floor.

The launch marks a shift from the typical remote livestreaming format, where creators demonstrate goods in isolation. Instead, tm:rw integrates eleven partner brands—including Whoop, HoverAir, and Robosen—into a physical, high-traffic environment. This setup allows digital shoppers to witness products in a tangible retail space, bridging the gap between online engagement and in-store experience. Beyond the launch event, the company is installing one permanent studio to serve as a recurring hub for creators and the public.

This initiative arrives as TikTok Shop gains significant traction in the United States, with gross merchandise value reaching an estimated $11.8 billion in the first half of 2026. Nathalie Bernce, co-founder and CEO of tm:rw, views the integration of content and commerce as the definitive path forward for brick-and-mortar retail. By converting a flagship location into a broadcast facility, the company aims to capitalize on the platform's momentum as it tracks toward a projected $100 billion in global merchandise value by the end of the year.
