Chipchase reports directly to ANSI president and CEO Laurie E. Locascio, who praised her internal expertise and steady hand during the institute's recent transitions. In her new capacity, Chipchase manages the accounting and finance department, coordinates with the Board Finance Committee, and maintains responsibility for long-term financial planning and asset stewardship. She succeeds Peggy Jensen, who retired earlier this year following a twenty-two-year tenure.

Before this appointment, Chipchase served as the organization's senior director of finance, guiding financial operations through various stages of growth. She holds an MBA from the California University of Pennsylvania and a degree in accounting and economics from the University of Reading. Her leadership will focus on securing the resources necessary for ANSI to continue its mission of facilitating voluntary consensus standards for its global network of professional members.
