vivo Launches X500 Series with ZEISS APO Telephoto Capabilities
The new vivo X500 series, headlined by the Pro Max model, debuts with a 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and advanced stabilization technology. The lineup, which includes the X500 Pro and standard X500, integrates high-capacity BlueVolt battery systems and new cinematic video tools designed for professional-grade mobile imaging.

The X500 Pro Max stands out with its 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and a 400 mm equivalent telephoto extender, aimed at capturing high-clarity shots from significant distances. To maintain image quality in challenging conditions, the device utilizes CIPA 7.0 Professional Stabilization and a 1/1.4-inch Ultra-Sensing Sensor. The X500 Pro shares much of this imaging architecture, featuring a 64 MP sensor co-engineered with Sony, while the standard X500 focuses on portrait-centric creative tools.
Video capabilities across the Pro models are centered on the ZEISS TrueDynamic Main Camera, which supports 4K Cinematic Portrait Video and 17 EV dynamic range for log recording. The software experience is driven by OriginOS 7, which introduces enhanced cross-device connectivity, including compatibility with Apple peripherals and file-transfer interoperability. Under the hood, the X500 Pro Max and Pro models utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, paired with large-capacity batteries—7800 mAh for the Max and 6510 mAh for the Pro—supported by 90W wired charging.
