Project Eleven and Quantus Partner to Secure Institutional Assets

As financial institutions grapple with the looming threat of quantum computing, Project Eleven and the Quantus Network are teaming up to integrate the Strongpoint custody platform. Quantus joins as a development partner, aiming to standardize how institutions manage post-quantum assets without disrupting existing governance or transaction workflows.

Blockchain networks are currently fragmented, with various migration paths and signature schemes emerging to combat quantum vulnerabilities. This creates a significant operational burden for institutions, which must maintain consistent security policies across diverse cryptographic standards. Strongpoint addresses this by decoupling institutional controls—such as approval processes and audit logs—from the underlying network cryptography. This architecture ensures that when a blockchain updates its security protocols, the institutional governance layer remains stable.

Under this partnership, Quantus will leverage its protocol-level post-quantum security while utilizing Strongpoint to provide the necessary key management and hardware-backed approvals. Alex Pruden, CEO of Project Eleven, noted that the goal is to prevent institutions from having to rebuild their security stacks whenever a network upgrades its cryptographic requirements. Christopher Smith, CEO of Quantus, added that the collaboration focuses on reducing the friction associated with adopting new security standards.

The technical integration will cover key-management workflows and transaction support, with full availability for institutional users targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
