T-Mobile Shifts Strategy with Swappable Subscription Perks

T-Mobile is rolling out its new T-Mix plans, a tiered service structure that allows subscribers to bundle wireless connectivity with rotating digital perks. By replacing rigid feature sets with a flexible selection of services, the carrier aims to let users swap their content subscriptions up to four times annually.

The entry-level Standard plan costs $55 per month for one line and includes one selectable perk. It provides 50GB of premium data, 480p video streaming, and basic international roaming in Canada and Mexico. Stepping up to the $75 More plan grants two perks per line, upgrades streaming to 4K UHD, and includes 60GB of high-speed hotspot data. The flagship Loaded plan, starting at $95, offers up to three perks per line and a significant boost to 250GB of high-speed hotspot access.

Customization options depend on the selected tier. Single-pick users can choose from services like Apple TV, Hulu with ads, or Google AI Plus. Higher-tier plans unlock more premium offerings, including Netflix Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and ESPN Unlimited. This modular approach allows T-Mobile to compete by embedding high-value entertainment and utility subscriptions directly into the monthly wireless bill, effectively turning the carrier into a central hub for digital service management.
