Israeli Agents Embedded in Mike Rogers’ Michigan Senate Campaign

When Democratic Representative Haley Stevens announced her sudden endorsement of Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers on Sunday, she did so with two registered agents of the Israeli government standing directly behind her, according to a recent report by Drop Site News.

The press conference outside a Detroit church was opened by Abigail Ronson, a spokesperson for the Rogers campaign. Public records confirm Ronson registered as an agent for the Israeli government under the Foreign Agents Registration Act in May 2026. She serves as a contractor for Clock Tower X, a firm owned by former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, which has been linked to multimillion-dollar operations aimed at influencing American public opinion on the conflict in Gaza.

Ronson is not the only operative with ties to foreign interests within the Rogers camp. Jesse Stokes, chief of staff at the Republican consulting firm Convergence Media, also serves as a registered Israeli agent. Although Stokes lacks an official campaign title, metadata reveals he authored the campaign’s launch announcement and continues to draft press releases. The Rogers campaign has funneled millions in payments to Convergence, which employs at least 14 staff members involved in pro-Israel influence efforts.

This revelation adds a layer of scrutiny to Stevens’ abrupt political pivot. The congresswoman had previously campaigned against Rogers, labeling him a dangerous ally to Donald Trump’s agenda. Her reversal followed intense pressure from her fiancé, Jason Turkish, an outspoken pro-Israel advocate. Representative Jamie Raskin, who had received assurances from Stevens regarding her loyalty to the Democratic ticket just hours before her flip, described the move as incomprehensible. As the Senate race nears its conclusion, questions regarding the influence of foreign lobbying and the prioritization of international interests over local voter concerns have become central to the Michigan contest.
