Grammarly Rebrands as Superhuman to Build an AI-Powered Work Platform

The writing assistant Grammarly is shedding its singular identity, folding its operations into a new, expansive productivity suite branded as Superhuman. By absorbing Coda and the email app Superhuman Mail, the company is shifting its primary focus from basic text correction to a browser-wide AI agent designed to manage complex workflows.

Starting today, paid Grammarly Pro subscribers gain access to the integrated Superhuman ecosystem. This transition introduces Superhuman Go, an AI assistant built upon Grammarly’s generative foundations but expanded to handle broader tasks. While the standalone writing tool remains active, it now functions as a single component within a larger suite that connects to over 100 applications, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook.

Chief Product Officer Noam Lovinsky noted that the rebrand has been in development since the acquisition of Coda in December 2024. The strategy aims to transform the platform into an omnipresent browser tool capable of scheduling meetings, analyzing databases, and offering contextual suggestions across various platforms. Users can access these features via a familiar sidebar interface, which now hosts a new Agent Store. While Superhuman Go is included at no extra cost until February 1, 2026, the company has yet to clarify the long-term pricing structure for the tool.
