The offering was fully subscribed, with shareholders and new investors claiming 73.4 percent of the new shares during the subscription period that concluded on September 29. The remaining 1,020,286 shares were allotted to Bergs Securities AB under a pre-existing guarantee commitment. Each share was priced at SEK 15, resulting in an increase of 3,834,487 shares in the company’s total outstanding count.

Pia Renaudin, CEO of SciBase, noted that the funding is vital for deepening the company's footprint in melanoma diagnostics and advancing collaborative efforts with Castle Biosciences. Chairman Jesper Høiland added that the capital raise serves as a signal of investor confidence as the company prepares for an upcoming leadership transition and continued operational growth in both the United States and Germany. SciBase intends to utilize the net proceeds, after accounting for roughly SEK 4.8 million in issue costs, to accelerate its commercialization strategy.
